History - Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa college
Filled with the instinct of seva and benevolence of Sikhism a temple of learning Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College came into being in the year 1979.Devotion pursued by strenuous efforts of the managing body has nurtured the institution and now it is the full fledged Post-Graduate College affiliated to Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya. At present it is imparting education in streams of Science and Commerce. Various vocational courses are being successfully run by the institute.
This college has highly qualified staff dedicated to the cause of quality education. This stands as testimony to the outstanding performances of the students at University level.
This temple of education not only gives more space to spread our wings but enlightens the brains of the youth, besides accommodating more students, it looks forward for the provision of better opportunities too. The institute has left no stone unturned to inculcate the culture of discipline and values amongst the students.
